Aesthetic and restorative dentistry
Cosmetic dentistry is a new field of aesthetic dentistry that has revolutionized the way both the dentist and the plastic surgeon assess facial features.
The first step is to gather information about your smile. A clinical and radiological examination is necessary to evaluate the state of your dentition. The use of intraoral cameras, digital radiography and oral microbial testing enable a full understanding of all factors affecting your dental health.
Misaligned, chipped, discolored or misshapen teeth may be corrected by such techniques as bleaching, bonding, veneers and ceramic inlays.
It takes many small details and meticulous attention to accomplish the best possible end result projecting an image of self assurance and higher personal esteem.
Using leading edge materials and technologies cosmetic dentistry can now help enhance your own natural beauty to look good and feel great. Many procedures can be completed in one to three simple visits.
We bring together the very best of aesthetic and pain-free restorative dentistry to provide you with our exclusive care in a most unique environment.
Yours truly,

How to get your beautiful smile
Once the necessary analyses of all elements affecting your smile have been documented, a treatment sequence is presented to you along with a time schedule.
The first step is to restore the foundations of your teeth, it is essential to build up all restorations on solid roots and strong gums. Recent advances in parodontology (science of gum diseases) allow quick stabilisation of moving teeth and strengthening of remaining bone around your teeth.
The second step is to rebuild your new smile with ‘made to measure’ restorations such as ceramic or composite resins. At all steps in your treatment you are never left without teeth. Cosmetic temporary teeth are fashioned to individually enhance your smile after just one visit. When rebuilding your smile or even just a simple tooth, it is important that the temporary tooth be well adapted, functional and aesthetic.
In full mouth rehabilitations, this step is extremely important as the cosmetic temporary restorations very closely mimic real teeth which help the dentist and the patients see the transformation of their smile before the final ceramic crowns or Veneers are completed. There are important ‘aesthetic dental rules’ that are followed point by point, to insure that the proportion, shape and harmony of your teeth result in a beautiful smile. There is no guesswork involved.
White fillings
Today old silver-grey fillings in molar teeth are replaced by white ceramic restorations called inlays or by composite resins. Inlays are an aesthetic alternative to amalgam fillings. They are made out of porcelain by a highly specialized technician. Inlays insure a long durability of your tooth by replacing and strengthening the remaining dentin and enamel.
Teeth with large cavities are restored with ceramic inlays or onlays which are a better alternative compared to composite fillings. The physical characteristics and highly aesthetic appearance of an inlay can mimic a tooth so well that sometimes even dentists have problems distinguishing a ceramic inlay from a natural tooth.
Teeth with smaller cavities such as interdental carious lesions in front teeth are typically restored with composite resins.
Teeth Bleaching
The colour of a person’s teeth is affected by a multitude of factors, from dietary habits, wear, aging restorations to simply having an intrinsically darker shade of teeth.
Professional long lasting teeth whitening is done with either ‘on chair bleaching’ or ‘home bleaching’ in which a thermoformed tray is made from models of your teeth. It has become part of a standard dental procedure associated with cosmetic dental treatments. The results last for years.
